11 expos in Erbil during 2012
11 expos will be organized during 2012 in Erbil, Chairman of Erbil International Fair told Aknews on Monday.
“We are planning to organize 4 additional Exhibitions in Erbil” he said. “Erbil has hosted over 50 international expos since its establishment in 2005 and received more than two million visitors” he added.
Auto Show 2012
Auto show 2012 is the first exhibition this year, it will be held next week beginning on Thursday 9 march till 11 March. This is the third Auto show in Erbil following the success of the auto shows in 2010 and 2011. Regional Car companies and Car manufacturers will promote their materials, technology, products and services to prospective clients and experts from the automotive industry.
According to Pyramids Group, the organizers of the Auto show, Over 280 exhibitors and 47000 visitors are expected at Auto Show 2012.
Other Exhibitions
Other Exhibition will be held this year in the fields of Construction, Oil and Gas, Industry, Agriculture and health. An International Book Fair will be held in April and for the first time in Erbil, an Exhibition about Education will be held in 2012.
Hundreds of companies and businessmen, from various countries came to Erbil and the Kurdistan Region since 2005 to visit these Exhibitions. As a result, many contracts has been signed to establish businesses in the Kurdistan Region.
