The third Erbil International Automobile, Automotive, Commercial Vehicles and Spare Parts Exhibition was opened in Erbil city’s International fairground yesterday, taking place between 08-11 March 2012.

The exhibition's opening ceremony was attended by Erbil Governor Nawzad Hadi and foreign diplomats and officials.

Erbil Auto Show provides an excellent platform for regional and overseas auto manufacturers to widely promote materials, technology, products and services to the experts from the global automotive industry and prospective clients.

The participating companies are from the Czech Republic, Germany, the USA, Canada, France, Japan, Sweden, South Korea, the UK, Jordan, the UAE, Turkey, Serbia, Lebanon, Iran, Finland.

Local companies from the Kurdistan Region are also participating in the expo.

Erbil is set to host 11 international expos this year, including the city's first education exhibition. Four more exhibitions may also take place in 2012.
