Turkish Businessmen visits Iraqi Kurdistan

According to the Turkish news agency Jihan, the Turkish Trakya association for young business men decided to arrange a business visit to Kurdistan Iraq in the coming month January.

The delegation includes 14 businessmen who will head to Erbil on the sixth of January 2011 and will visit Sulaimaniyah and Kirkuk for business purposes, noting that their visit will last for five days.

The agency conveyed the associations’ vice general director’s statement, Masoud Dmirtash, saying that “the aim of the visit is to search for business opportunities in Iraq and collect information about investments” adding that “the construction sector in Iraq will continue over the next twenty years, and through this visit we are trying to participate actively in this sector.”

He also explained that the delegation will participate during his visit in Erbil Third International fair for food and agriculture. The association’s headquarter locates in Tekirdag city near Istanbul, which is one of the biggest know industrial cities in Turkey.
