Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra performs in Erbil on Feb11

The internationally acclaimed Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra (INSO) is a government funded symphony orchestra based in the federal capital Baghdad. The INSO plays primarily classical European music, as well as original compositions based on Iraqi and Arab instruments and music.

 

Since its existence in 1944, the INSO has toured many countries around the world, and this month they're also performing in Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region.

 

This is their schedule for the February 11 performance at Erbil's Peshawa Hall:

Admission
FREE, for those aged 12 and above.
The organizers advice parents to keep their children at home, or else they will be denied entry.
