Over 50 experts in nursing and midwifery are participating in a three-day reinforcement workshop in Erbil, starting today.

Together with the Kurdistan Region Health Minister Taher Hawrami, the participants want to draw a strategic plan for both professions in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

"We will also talk the newest state of the art techniques in these professions," Hamrami was quoted in a statement.

The workshop is organized by the Iraqi and Kurdistan Health Ministries and the World Health Organization (WHO).
