The second International Total Healthcare Exhibition & Conference starts today in Erbil, the capital of kurdistan. Iraq Medicare is the premier International Healthcare Exhibition serving Iraq.  It sets high standards in the industry by offering a professional setting that allows companies from Iraq and around the world to showcase their latest healthcare products, equipment and services, and to reach doctors, hospitals, buyers and health sector professionals from the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and the rest of Iraq.

The first Iraq Medicare, organized in 2010, brought together more than 150 exhibitors at the Erbil International Fairground from Iraq, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, UAE and the USA.


Over the last few years, Iraq has attracted massive interest from international traders in all sectors. In particular, the stable northern region of Kurdistan is generating strong attention. A rewarding result to the efforts made by the Kurdistan Regional Government to attract top-caliber international investors, to what is described as the Northern Gateway to Iraq.

A sucessor of Iraq Medicare 2010

The first Iraq Medicare, organized in 2010, brought together more than 150 exhibitors at the Erbil International Fairground from Iraq, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, UAE and the USA.

Exhibits included dental products, dentistry clinic equipment, diagnostic equipment, disinfectants, emergency equipment, health products, hospital equipment, hospital furniture, laboratory instruments, life support systems, medical equipment, medical insurance, orthopedic products, pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments, X-ray equipment, etc.

Iraq Medicare 2010 was certainly a success, attracting more than 2400 professional health sector visitors, health officials and buyers and key media representatives from Kurdistan and the other Iraqi regions.

The concurrent seminars offered by the exhibitors offered an enriching opportunity to the attending Iraqi Medical doctors and hospital professionals to learn about the latest advances in equipment and products.

The post show survey showed that most of the exhibitors did good business at Iraq Medicare 2010 and they would participate again in the 2011 edition.
